Guitar No. 4

Date Completed:
Monday, December 3, 2012

This guitar was a milestone in craftsmanship for me. So many details, from the polish, to the binding, turned out very beautiful in this instrument which reflects the increasing quality of my completed guitars in both looks and sound.

Judging by the expression on others faces that have picked it up, this guitar is a joy to play. The best way I can describe the sound in words is that the guitar has both the warmth and clarity that I want to achieve. I am currently having a very hard time not playing it, and I must resist the temptation in order to deliver the future buyer a new guitar.

The guitar uses a traditional fan bracing and has a very comfortable neck with a slight radius in the fingerboard that will be a standard on all my future guitars. Likewise, the maple bound headstock is a detail that I am sticking with. Its the kind of simple and natural beauty that I like in my guitars.
