"Browsing numerous guitars at GFA vendors expo in Fullerton, California I suddenly stopped near one unusual guitar which caught my eye and ear. After trying it I was surprised how it combined the power of some Smallman type lattice bracing with charm and intimate warmth of some vintage traditional instrument with soft main tone and at the same time all notes readable and with good attack. It was a guitar of a young luthier from Tennesee, Zebulon Turrentine. I asked him for the opportunity to play more of this guitar and when I came to the hotel hall I played an one hour programme on this guitar; non-stop without any complications and with great pleasure. I hope to hear more from this talented luthier."

I brought this guitar to the 2017 GFA Convention in Fullerton, CA where it received acclaim from a variety of top guitarists. The Cocobolo back and sides came from two sets that were once in the wood inventory of the famous luthier Jose Oribe who has recently retired. The western red cedar top is specimen of perfectly quartered cedar, split without the slightest wave from one of my straightest flitches. The guitar has a deep F# resonance that carries a weight and presence deserved by the classical guitars finest compositions and performers.
