Headstock Veneer Gluing

The headstock veneers have been laminated onto the neck blank. The choice of neck wood is Peruvian Walnut. This particular piece of wood is remarkably well quartered and seems to have a stiffness and weight very similar to Spanish Cedar. It will have a stunning contrast with the spalted maple back and sides.
