The guitar is named after one of the four Greek gods of wind. Zephyrus is the god of the west wind and the bringer of spring. The guitar was completed in the spring of 2022 after a hard winter. The ambrosia centerpiece is a harsh reminder of the turbulent storms that form a part of the danger, beauty and chaos of creation that is spring.

Abalone Inlay

An improvised shape for a position marker in the 12th position

Back Headstock Veneer

Adding a decorative veneer to the back of a headstock adds extra strength and beauty.

Back Trim

Mosaic purfling joined into the border of the centerpiece and binded with snakewood.

End Graft

The guitar includes a Barbera pickup and here is an inlay - making use of an opportunity to do something special around the usual electric hardware.
